Twitter has quickly become one of the leading social networking sites. Within a span of 4 years (Twitter was created in 2006), it has developed into a 200 million/month user site. Aerotek Piscataway NJ and Boys and Girls Club partner for Fall Harvest 2010

The employees of Aerotek’s Piscataway, NJ office partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of Trenton and Mercer County for Fall Harvest 2010. The event took place on October 29, 2010 at the Boys and Girls Club in Trenton, NJ. In attendance were over 200 children, over 15 Aerotek Employees and additional staff to provide support. Stations and rooms were set up with various activities for the children’s enjoyment. These included a Trick or Treat Bag Decorating Room, a Cookie Decorating Room, Face Painting, Cotton Candy, and a Haunted House. Each of these stations were led by Aerotek Employees. “It was great to see the excitement on the faces of each of the kids as they went from room to room,” says Aerotek Piscataway Recruiter, Melissa Mancini, who dressed as a giant penguin for the event.

New Jersey’s Staffing Penetration Rate Showing Signs of Growth

A recent job’s report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, while showing a slight decline in overall U.S. unemployment, indicated that companies are hiring once again. Although it’s not factored into the overall employment numbers many companies also hiring a lot of temporary employees. That could be a good sign. In recent years, many economists say, temporary hiring has preceded a wider and stronger pickup in business.
