New Jersey’s Staffing Penetration Rate Showing Signs of Growth

A recent job’s report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, while showing a slight decline in overall U.S. unemployment, indicated that companies are hiring once again. Although it’s not factored into the overall employment numbers many companies also hiring a lot of temporary employees. That could be a good sign. In recent years, many economists say, temporary hiring has preceded a wider and stronger pickup in business.

Overall Impact of Green Jobs in New Jersey

The increase in job opportunities in renewable energy sectors will most likely impact a variety of other industries as well. More recently, staffing companies assisting with the hiring of green professionals have seen a direct impact on additional industries such as manufacturing, design, engineering, development and construction.

Is New Jersey Gaining Jobs?

Gallup poll has recently released the results of their Sept. 2010 poll asking Americans about what the federal government is currently not doing that it should be doing. The number one response of this study showed that Americans believe that the government is not doing their part in creating jobs nor reducing the unemployment rate in the US. This poll discovered that Americans are mostly concerned with specific domestic issues such as job creation, the economy, government spending, healthcare, taxes, and education and feel that the government is not concentrating on resolving these issues.
